WeAreChange Assaulted by Police in Louisville
Members of WeAreChange were physically removed from Louisville Exposition Center on Sunday after confronting Iran Contra figure Oliver North. Members questioned North on his involvement with Continuity of Government, the new 9/11 investigation and concentration camps in America.
Lt. Colonel Oliver North, a FOX News host, was confronted by a combination of activists from WeAreChange Ohio, and Kentuckiana Change. Cody Deeds stood up during a question and answer session and asked North to explain exactly what the Continuity of Government was, at which point North went into his involvement with REX 84 during the Reagan Administration. North explained that at the time it was a plan to continue government in the event of a Soviet attack. As a follow up question, Deeds asked a question “Given the knowledge of secondary devices in [World Trade Center] building 7, would you support a new investigation of 9/11.” North initially scoffed at the notion of government involvement, but Deeds reiterated that he had not mentioned the government and only wanted know if given knowledge of secondary devices, would he support a new investigation. At which point, North replied, “Investigate everything.”
On North’s way out of the forum, Sam Logulo asked; “North about the Iran Contra hearings and the presence of concentration camps in America.” North claimed “The only concentration camps were shut down after World War II.” Logulo replied, “Some of them are being reopened.” North said “show me the proof.” Logulo said, “Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis,” a reference to Beech Grove. North told Logulo to send the evidence to his email address.

On the way out, the members gave a variety of DVDs including TerrorStorm and Blueprint for Truth to North. In addition the members gave a Patriots Question 9/11 flier to North and an article about ex-Congressman Daniel Hamburg about evidence that the U.S. government created Al-Qaeda and were involved with 9/11.
Later, Logulo told North that he would send him the information on the camps, but at this point, police surrounded the WeAreChange members. At which point the officers told the members to shut off their cameras. Adam Covington from Kentuckiana Change asked an officer, “Why can’t I record this when I have a press pass, and this is a second and first amendment venue?” Despite the lack of explanation from the police, the members shut off their devices and proceeded to walk out of the building.
While escorted out, a plainclothes officer yelled “Give me your camera,” and tried to snatch Logulo's camera from behind. Four officers tackled Logulo, and drove him to the ground. One officer put Logulo into a headlock.
“Easy, easy, easy!” Logulo exclaimed. “I’m not resisting.”
As Logulo was being assaulted, Deeds was filming his fellow WeAreChange member in order to record the abuse. He was told stop filming at which point he didnt comply and continued filming anyway.
“Get him!” yelled a plainclothes officer as he ran at Deeds. Three officers took Deeds down to his knees as they ripped the camera out of his hand. Deeds tried to take the memory stick out of his camera, and was accused of “tampering with evidence” a Class D felony according to officer Rehm. Deeds later explained, “The footage was my only defense.”
The police confiscated four memory cards, two battery packs, two sets of batteries, and a disc. Throughout the 30 min ordeal the members of change were interigated, harrased, and searched. Vicente Fox Seeks Interdependent North America and Emerging World Government
Former Mexican President Urges U.S. to Embrace "Solidarity" Not "Selfishness" as North American Union Unfolds
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox indicated that he would favor the emergence of a world government and also reaffirmed his support for a North American Union during a conversation with WeAreChange.Org.
Fox told cameras, "I would love to see the process [of World Government] adapted to the local situation."
Fox played down concerns that sovereignty would be compromised under NAFTA and other agreements facilitating integration-- asserting claims that Germany and Great Britain had lost no sovereignty under the EU.
He indicated that the 'original agreement' under the SPP (Security & Prosperity Partnership) had not moved forward at the pace that he had desired, but that progress was underway. Fox expressed hopes that the next U.S. administration could reassess and advance the agreement.
Former President Fox made the statements during a question and answer session at a joint event by the National Endowment for Democracy and the Foreign Policy Association in New York. (CLICK HERE TO SEE VIDEO OF FULL SPEECH) Incredibly, after the speech, it was Fox who approached reporter Luke Rudkowski for further discussion (after Rudkowski asked an initial question).
Fox denied that plans for the Trans-Texas Corridor and the NAFTA super-highway were being advanced in any official capacity-- making clear that the highways were "not a government project" but that he "welcomed" the link between the nations.
Fox also called the United States "a very selfish country," clearly bolstering support for any aid or benefit to Mexico and making clear his favorable opinion of globalization. Vicente Fox instead urged "solidarity" between the nations.
Along these lines, a White House proposal has recently surfaced that would grant $1.4 billion to 'secure' Mexico's borders. Current Mexican President Felipe Calderon recently called for the U.S. to continue to welcome migrants, stating that the two nations' economies were already 'interdependent' and that 'closing the doors' would cause harm.
Vicente Fox previously discussed the possibility of a unified currency similar to the Euro with Larry King, indicating that a "trade union for all of the Americas" (ALCA) had been proposed by President Bush and himself. Fox then clarified, "Well, that would be long, long term. I think the processes to go, first step into is trading agreement. And then further on, a new vision, like we are trying to do with NAFTA."
Fox had also commented on the Daily Show that globalization and NAFTA had "absolutely" benefited both the U.S. and Mexico. He said that he favored a 'long term' approach towards a North American Union.

Harassed at border for 9/11 truth flyer
JC911Truth founder, director and organizer, Glenn Zarmanov was recently harassed on the American-Canadian border for his possession of fliers that prompt the reader to demand a new investigation and DVDs with similar content. While traveling on a visit to Montreal, Quebec, Zarmanov encountered hostility when a border-patrol agent remarked that the fliers and discs could be considered "objectionable material" and might be confiscated. Zarmanov was allowed into the country with his property, but was warned not to bring such material on subsequent visits. Zarmanov was questioned rigorously on his intentions for smuggling paper and plastic into Canada.
As if a thorough search of the vehicle in which the activist was traveling were not enough, the border-guard in question added insult to injury by stating:
"That sh*t [9/11 Truth] don't fly in Canada" and
"You are not welcome here. Americans are second-rate travelers."
In retrospect, Zarmanov should have taken this opportunity to file a complaint against the officer, resulting in his immediate demotion or removal. This kind of sheer contempt for people who offer positive change in the face of demoralizing evil is reprehensible and should be addressed. Had Zarmanov captured this particular officer's behavior on audio/video, there would be no doubt a national scandal concerning the treatment of certain "unpalatable" information as contraband.

Increased rates of immune system disorders and other wide-ranging symptoms, including chronic pain, fatigue and memory loss, have been reported in over one quarter of combat veterans of the 1991 Gulf War. Combustion products from depleted uranium munitions are being considered as one of the potential causes by the Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans' Illnesses, as DU was used in tank kinetic energy penetrator and machine-gun bullets on a large scale for the first time in the Gulf War. Veterans of the conflicts in the Gulf, Bosnia and Kosovo have been found to have up to 14 times the usual level of chromosome abnormalities in their genes. Human epidemiological evidence is consistent with increased risk of birth defects in the offspring of persons exposed to DU.
In early 2004, the UK Pensions Appeal Tribunal Service attributed birth defect claims from a February 1991 Gulf War combat veteran to depleted uranium poisoning. Children of British soldiers who fought in wars in which depleted uranium ammunition was used are at greater risk of suffering genetic diseases such as congenital malformations, commonly called "birth defects," passed on by their fathers.
A New York Post column yesterday referred to 9/11 Truth action at Ground Zero as "pure obscenity" as it made a weak effort to call for draconian measures to drive-out "conspiracy-mongers" 'festering' on sacred ground.
The piece is undoubtedly the end result of an NY Post photographer who recently followed around members of WeAreChange.org during one of their weekly street actions outside the remains of the World Trade Center complex.
The Post's Steve Cuozzo makes a sleazy link between a handful of street vendors who apparently sell $10 pictures of the former Twin Towers and the dedicated group that tirelessly fights for a new 9/11 investigation on behalf of the 9/11 victim's family members, as well as the 50,000 rescue workers sick & dying from toxic dust.
While the non-profit WeAreChange.org has never sold anything near ground zero, the NY Post flutters inadvertently between descriptions of the group and claims that "not the flimsiest justification exists for the rowdy, open-air bazaar of illegal junk-peddlers."
The Post vehemently trashes the "Third World flea market" as an "indefensible rupture of civic order," while claiming to defend the right to free speech. Apparently, peaceful demonstrators, along with immigrant vendors are seen as nothing more than riffraff and bleeding 'eyesores' who should be dealt with. Who's xenophobic now?
What's more-- Cuozzo is equally irritated by the 'indifference' and 'tolerance' of NYPD and Port Authority police who, the vicious rag protests, "fail to enforce their own rules." Somehow, Cuozzo's Post column continues to link alleged illegal vending with clearly protected free speech, free assembly and peaceful demonstration-- when there is no link between the individuals whatsoever.
What the Cuozzo really objects to is that groups like WeAreChange.org have not only gotten out their message and made a stand for truth, but that they have won over many of the police officers in the process. It is all but obvious that the NY Post seeks to pressure police authorities to shut down free speech, run off the demonstrators and restore 'order' to the open wound at ground zero.
While this call-to-action is disgusting-- it is perplexing and perhaps hideous to note that the moments of fascism are coming down from the press, not the police.
The Post even decries a banner it reports as having read, "Do Something Because the Government Won't." However, the paper omitted the fact that the same banner also read, "50,000 911 Hero’s Are Dying," a reference to the rescue workers sick and dying from exposure to toxic dust who remain untreated and unaided.
WeAreChange.org has held a number of benefits and fundraisers to help support 9/11 rescue workers, including an upcoming "money bomb" on February 16 that seeks to raise $1 million for first responders who desperately need health care, personal expenses, political lobbying and to spread further awareness.
WeAreChange.org has been one of the most prevalent groups demonstrating at Ground Zero. It is made up not only of activists and concerned citizens, but family members of those who died on 9/11 as well as first responders who stand to be forgotten in spite of their service to 9/11 victims.
Despicable and potentially libelous portrayals like that of the New York Post seek to damage efforts to uncover the truth about 9/11-- to seek justice and give closure and comfort to the families and rescue workers left behind in the wake of the 9/11 cover-up.
The Post would apparently rather see free speech stifled and full-bore fascism fully implemented-- with questions about obvious inconsistencies in the government's official story thrown out with the bums that 'sell' them.

In 1967, Alan Greenspan wrote an essay entitled "Gold and Economic Freedom." This was 20 years before he would assume leadership as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Obviously he had some ideas in '67 that he is reluctant to recall in '07, such as the fact that the Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned, and illegally backed by our federal taxes. In his essay, Greenspan states:
"And so the Federal Reserve System was organized in 1913. It consisted of twelve regional Federal Reserve banks nominally owned by private bankers, but in fact government sponsored, controlled, and supported. Credit extended by these banks is in practice (though not legally) backed by the taxing power of the federal government."
It stands to reason that Mr. Greenspan would know who the private bankers were that own the Federal Reserve, but in 2007 at the World Business Forum in NYC, he obviously didn't think the American people deserved to be let in on the secret. Even if Greenspan admitted to the stockholders' identities, there would be no way for Americans to confirm that, because the Fed is not legally bound to reveal the names of its stockholders. Somewhat later in the essay, Mr. Greenspan casually but clearly states that the Federal Reserve Bank caused the Great Depression.
"The 'Fed' succeeded; it stopped the gold loss, but it nearly destroyed the economies of the world in the process. The excess credit which the Fed pumped into the economy spilled over into the stock market -- triggering a fantastic speculative boom. Belatedly, Federal Reserve officials attempted to sop up the excess reserves and finally succeeded in braking the boom. But it was too late: by 1929 the speculative imbalances had become so overwhelming that the attempt precipitated a sharp retrenching and a consequent demoralizing of business confidence. As a result, the American economy collapsed."
Mr. Greenspan is also reluctant to reveal the relationship the Fed has with the Bank of International Settlements in Switzerland (BIS), also known as the "central bank of central banks." Calls by WeAreChange to the Fed did not result in getting a straight answer about this relationship. Linda Ricci, a VP and Fed spokeswoman, first said that the Federal Reserve Bank is a "member" of the BIS, and then immediately said that the Fed was not a member. Give it a try yourself. The numbers are 212-720-5000, and 646-720-5000.
Jack Welch was CEO of General Electric from 1981 to 2001. He retired on September 7th, 2001, 4 days before the attacks of 911. Jack seems to have no knowledge of WTC 7, or that GE's own NBC network rarely mentions its mysterious collapse. Mr. Welch is apparently also in the dark about "put options" that were placed on United and American Airlines just before 911 that ended up reaping millions for their purchasers. Possibly Mr. Welch believes that what you don't know can't hurt you.
Corpwatch.org states that "The war on terrorism has seen GE's military contracts rise substantially." One can only guess why this fact is never trumpeted by any of the networks in GE's $43 billion dollar media empire. Jack Welch seems to think there is no connection. It's a fair bet that NBC will make no public attempt to prove him wrong.
